This odonata nymph identification workshop, led by Marla Garrison, will provide background and guidance on identification of a range of nymphs to the genus level. The workshop will be held the morning of June 29 at The Watershed. Further details, like workshop time, will be sent closer to the workshop.

Microscopes will be available for each participant to use, as well as a set of specimens to key out, using Dragonfly Nymphs of North America by Dr. Ken Tennessen. Reference copies of Tennessen’s book will be available at the workshop. If you would like to purchase your own copy before the workshop, you can do so HERE.

Aimed at an intermediate level, this workshop will help those already interested in nymph identification, who have a basic knowledge of odonates. The workshop will last 3 hours and 15 participants may join. A suggested donation of $20 will be accepted at the workshop.
